Georg Lendorff is a Swiss born film director and video artist. He graduated at the London College of Communications and the Hochschule der Künste in Zurich. Alongside his engagement in fictional and experimental film Georg creates visuals for theater and opera since the early 90s. His unique and innovative work for, amongst others, Salzburger Festspiele, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Burgtheater Wien, Neumarkt Theater and Theaterhaus Gessnerallee in Zurich gained Georg critical acclaim internationally. Together with writer director Igor Bauersima, Georg has been nominated twice for the prestigious Nestroy-Theaterpreis award in Vienna. Georgs latest short film Beheading of a Smiling Dog is currently touring film festivals and has won several awards.
