
Thomas Mürk studied singing at the Conservatory of Tallinn. He perfected himself in include Tom Krause, Jorma Hynninen, Yevgeny Nesterenko, Marlena Malas and Enzo Capuano. In 1989 he won the national singing competition Estonia. He began his career as a choir member of the National Opera of Estonia in Tallinn. He later returned as soloist. He was heard as Dulcamara/L'Elisir d'Amore, Dottore/La Traviata, Commendatore/Don Giovanni and Monterone/Rigoletto. Mürk Thomas is also active as a concert and recital singer. He could be heard during performances of La Petite Messe Solemnelle (Rossini), Magnificat (Bach) and the Messa di Gloria (Puccini). In the series of lunchtime concerts he sang the song cycle Sunless by Modest Mussorgsky. Mürk Thomas is a member of the Choir of Flanders Opera. He was a soloist as Wachtmeister/Der Prinz von Homburg, Araldo/Otello and Guccio/Gianni Schicchi.
Thomas Mürk will sing Zaretsky/Jevgeni Onegin on April 23 and 25 2010.
