Mahler 5, Flanders Opera Orchestra in Azerbaijan

Flanders Opera has been invited to visit an entirely new part of the world. Flanders Opera Orchestra has been invited in December to the 5^th edition of the International Festival Rostropovich. This three-day music festival is held every year in Baku, Azerbaijan. The orchestra, under the direction of chief conductor Dmitri Jurowski, the driving force behind this visit, will play Mahler's Fifth Symphony, which is on the concert programme in Antwerp and Ghent a few days earlier.
