The mezzo-soprano Carole Wilson’s recent engagements include Annina/Der Rosenkavalier conducted by Sir Simon Rattle (at De Nederlandse Opera), Dritte Magd/Elektra and Clotilde/Norma (both for Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie), Mrs. Sedley/Peter Grimes (for De Vlaamse Opera) in addition to Preziosilla/La forza del destino (for Opera Holland Park) are testimony to the fact that Carole Wilson is without doubt one of Britain’s most popular and successful operatic artists.
