Musical theatre for children, based on Mozart's The Magic Flute

The sun cannot do without the moon. Light cannot exist without darkness. The day exists by grace of the night. Or is it vice versa? One thing is certain: the sun and moon, day and night, and light and darkness never occur simultaneously. This children’s production is based on Mozart’s popular opera The Magic Flute. Filmmaker Gust Van den Berghe, known for Blue Bird, brings the character of the Queen of the Night to life together with the Flanders Opera children’s chorus and vocal artist Gretchen Bijma. A new piece of musical theatre tailor-made for children, especially for the Christmas holidays.
