Flanders Opera’s Fellini cycle – with Satyricon (Maderna), Prova d’Orchestra (Battistelli) and Aladdin en de Wonderlamp (Rota) as previous editions — is to be crowned with an international creation. Composer Luc Van Hove and librettist Eric de Kuyper have written a new opera based on La Strada, Federico Fellini’s legendary road movie.
