Intro
Again, Mahler is key this season, this time with his monumental Third Symphony. This majestic masterpiece brings together an unlimited collection of musical languages and styles and one of the nicest adagios to end with. Mars and a choir of angels – featuring our own Children's choir – go together seamlessly with a sweet minuet and a hymn. Grand symphonic parts alternate in a composition in which Mahler wanted to provide an ‘evolution theory of music’. Allow yourself to be surprised by this masterful conclusion to our concert series.

Team
Maestro Eliahu Inbal is a real Mahler specialist: he was one of the first to put entire Mahler symphonies on CD. The way he conducted the Second Symphony in Flanders Opera blew away the audience. The musical side of things is therefore in good hands. And German mezzo-soprano Iris Vermillion, a reputable Mahler performer will undoubtedly shine. The list is supplemented by the Women's choir and Flanders Opera's Children's choir, who will move everyone with their sweet vocal ensemble.
