Tickets for an opera performance vary in price and always depend on the opera in question, the performance itself, your seat and when you bought the ticket. Prices start from € 10 and go up to € 95. Check the website for the exact price of your ticket, or contact the box office for tailor-made advice.

Please note: in the weekend you pay €3 extra for opera tickets. Booking fees: € 1.50 per ticket and € 2 postage per transaction.

Season tickets

Season tickets are worth the money if you go to more than one or two performances a year, and are available in different sizes, formats and price formulas. From € 24 you can go to 3 performances. Check the list to find out which season ticket suits you best .


Flanders Opera gives discounts to different groups:

  • people with a disability: 50%
  • youngsters:
    • last-minute tickets: € 8
    • CJP discount: 50%
    • Culture cheques (only Antwerp)
    • on season tickets: up to 30% for people aged 30 and younger; up to 70% for people aged 26 and younger
  • groups: 10% (on operas and concerts)

All these discounts are only available if you book by telephone or via the box office; not if you buy tickets online.

Gift vouchers

Going to the opera is an ideal gift. You determine the amount of the gift voucher. The voucher is valid for 2 years and if the amount is not spent in one go the recipient is given a credit note for the remaining amount which is again valid for 2 years. Gift vouchers can be bought online or at the box office.
